Build Your Own Ladder Shelf

The project required fine cuttings and to cut the dados in the uprights at a 7 5 degree angle.

Build your own ladder shelf.

Paint this shelf or leave blank in a natural tone of wood. Put the ladder in place and screw the angle bracket to the top shelf. For safety and to avoid the ladder shelves from sliding off attach an angle bracket under the shelf. Place the ladder away and screw the angle bracket to the wall.

To make this you ll need brackets wood glue braces sandpaper wood glue a jigsaw braces a power drill and wood screws. Make sure the dados are equally spaced as they will hold the shelves in them. Lay out each of the shelves on the floor standing them on the long edge with an equal distance between them. To do this first put a mark on the wall.

A simple and easy diy project this is a great way to upcycle an old and rickety ladder. To keep everything steady install some cross bars and reinforce the shelves with wood of your choice.
